I wrote a pattern for a crochet hat quite a few years ago, it's not very well written, there's no gauge reference and it really was just a 'wing it' project. However, I've been fortunate to have the pattern well "favorited" on Raverly and other crocheters comment to make it easier for others attempting the pattern. This pattern is licensed under creative commons with the stipulation that credit is given to the designer and it is clearly stated where the free pattern can be found. Enjoy! My Grandpa turned 90 at the beginning of March so we had a big party for him over the long weekend. Lots of family and friends arrived at my childhood home and we had a great weekend sharing stories and hanging out together. I did plan ahead for things to do while Grandpa napped and earned the title of "Crafternoon Facilitator". Our Friday afternoon craft was Modge Podged wall mounted bottle openers. I picked up some great Pulp Fiction books from a local used book store and we used the covers to decorate our bottle openers. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out and have to find a place to mount it. We used exterior Modge Podge so they could go outside. |
